Our Open Mic Night has really taken off, so we’ve decided to use this platform to highlight some of our favorite local acts.

This week our featured artist is Carand Burnet!
Carand Burnet (she/her) (@kioeamusic) is the leader and guitarist of the band Kioea (kēōˈāə.) Burnet's sound is heavily influenced by surf rock, psychedelia, and global music. She evokes a daydream-like mood using reverb effects, atmospheric guitar solos, and sitar melodies. Reviewer J.
