Owen Howes is a Maine-based singer-songwriter and musician that began writing and performing his own songs in the days of high school. With the establishment of the band Silver Heels in 2019 many years later, Owen developed his songwriting style inspired by the unforgiving yet awe-inspiring nature of Maine’s coast, sobriety, and the question of a life well-lived. Owen continues to write and perform with the Portland-based band, Silver Heels, which features a larger rock sound that adds new dimension to the songs that wrestle with these questions.
