Has Plague Dad Sold Out?

The relentless Old Port busking folk/punk duo Plague Dad has become a trio, adding a copper-bottomed stand-up Bassist, Mike Berkowitz, to finally become a real band! Or at least a trio with a warmer, fuller sound.

The early reviews have been more than positive! This winter, starting Sunday December 17th @ 7pm, Plague Dad will be bringing the street sound to Hi Fidelity on the third Sunday of the month.

An indoor busk that will feature the new twist on their already fully formed mix of originals, carefully curated reworking of public domain tunes, and occasional surprise covers.

Plague Dad aims, over the course of two sets at Hi Fidelity, to introduce new material as well. Fresh originals, deep covers, and unique added instrumentation.

In the spirit of Monday open mic’s at Hi fidelity there may also be the occasional guest performers for fun and profit.

Time to be getting the youngest and newest member of Plague Dad fully integrated for a slew of upcoming gigs throughout Portland and New England. Let the sell-out begin!
