As the party continues to search the Sunless Citadel for the missing Hucrele heirs the dangers they face grow more gruesome, and far more deadly. After being shown the way to the unguarded back entrance of the Goblin encampment, our intrepid Adventurers push deeper into the abandoned fortress. This time they find themselves in a rat infested dungeon where they stumble upon the nest of Guthash the Bloated One, a giant diseased rat. After a noble, but ultimately futile attempt to communicate with the beast, the party manages to defeat Guthash with the clever application of a room full of fire and a variety of sharp implements. They discovered the body of Karakas, one of the Hucreles’ companions, amongst the burnt remains of the Bloated One’s nest, but no sign of the Hucreles themselves.
